Band 8 answer

  • Task Response8
  • Lexical Resource8
  • Grammatical Range & Accuracy8
  • Coherence & Cohesion8

The question of whether the growing use of artificial intelligence and machines improves people's quality of life has become increasingly contentious. While these technologies offer considerable benefits in terms of efficiency and convenience, I believe that excessive reliance on them can undermine critical thinking and human independence if their use is not carefully managed. Those who advocate the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence argue that it can simplify everyday tasks, save time, and improve safety. Tools such as ChatGPT and Claude enable users to obtain information, organise their work, and solve routine problems with minimal effort. Moreover, intelligent systems integrated into household appliances can perform repetitive tasks and detect potential hazards, allowing people to manage their daily responsibilities more efficiently. From this standpoint, technological progress represents a valuable opportunity to improve living standards and make everyday life more convenient. Nevertheless, these benefits should not overshadow the potential drawbacks of excessive dependence on AI. When individuals routinely delegate decisions and problem-solving tasks to intelligent systems, they may become less inclined to exercise independent judgement. This is particularly concerning when students rely on AI-generated answers instead of analysing information or developing their own arguments. Over time, such habits may limit opportunities to practise critical thinking, creativity, and independent decision-making. However, these consequences are not inevitable; they are more likely to arise when technology replaces intellectual effort rather than supporting it. In my opinion, technological convenience and human independence need not be mutually exclusive, yet where they genuinely conflict, the development of critical thinking and self-reliance should prevail. Responsible approaches to AI use, ranging from human-machine collaboration to clear limits on its use in education, demonstrate that society can benefit from technological advances without sacrificing essential intellectual skills. In conclusion, although the arguments in favour of artificial intelligence are undeniably compelling, the enduring importance of human independence and critical thinking should not be overlooked. It is therefore imperative that technological progress be guided by a commitment to using AI responsibly while preserving people's ability to think and act independently.

The question of whether the rapid use of artificial intelligence and machines will enhance people's quality of life has become increasingly contentious. While some maintain that it might have several consequences . From my standpoint, I firmly believe that technologically advanced devices can cause intellectual harm because they make our habits faster and less intimate. Those who believe that the increasing use of artificial intelligence and machines will improve people’s lives argue that technology-enhanced instruments help in reducing effort and time spent. The power of artificial intelligence has grown alongside tools like ChatGPT and Claude, which many use daily and rely on even for small, everyday choices such as food or fashion preferences. Furthermore, artificial intelligence is designed to be everywhere, even in household appliances; it helps reduce hazards and enhance results. In this sense, AI definitely implements noticeable advances in our daily life. Nevertheless, this view underestimates the catastrophic and often irreversible consequences of artificial intelligence. Once AI is implemented in everyday practices, humankind is often less tempted to do anything that an AI tool can do in seconds. Leading to a rapid decrease in their critical thinking skils, ability to make sound choices, creativity, and even their food preferences are determined. In my opinion, these objectives need not be mutually exclusive, yet where they genuinely conflict, the development of critical thinking and self-reliance should prevail. Responsible approaches to AI use, ranging from human-machine collaboration to limits on its use in education, demonstrate that society can benefit from technological advances without sacrificing independent judgement and problem-solving skills. In conclusion, although the arguments in favour of artificial intelligence are undeniably compelling, the enduring importance of human independence and critical thinking should not be overlooked, and it is therefore imperative that technological progress be guided by a commitment to preserving these essential qualities.

Certain individuals advocate artificial intelligence due to their believe that it will improve people's lives, while others maintain the believe that it might have severe consequences. From my perspective, I reckon that artificial intelligence might put employees's jobs at risk. On the one hand, advocates argue that artificial intelligence might enhance people's lives mainly because of its ability to form rapid and demanding solutions, help most societal people in making hard everyday choices, and it might help overcome life threatening situations. In other words, artificial intelligence is a resource of rapid results. For instance, AI is integrated in mostly all everyday resources such as cars and home appliances mostly due to the way it helps achieve rapid outcomes. From my standpoint, I'm certain that it might cause substantial effects to certain careers by easily doing their job. On the other hand, others and I are certain that artificial intelligence might overpower employees with simple jobs. In this sense, rapid growth of AI generates greater risk of job loses of those who practice automate jobs, since humans are more prone to error from repetitive actions. Consequently, artificial intelligence is take into consideration to decrease the number of mistakes that regular employees that potentially lead to cost loss. For instance, Amazon has replaced its coworkers that are responsible for packing with AI driven robots. In my opinion, Ai could potentially lead to the loss of certain low skilled people that might put their families and themselves at financial edge. From my perspective, I recommend that companies offer substituting jobs to coworkers that have been replaced by AI such as a supervising position to these robots due to their high expertise in the job. In conclusion, some people reckon that artificial intelligence have substantial benefits to the living quality of individuals. Whilst me and others are certain that it may encounter sever detrimental outcomes on certain jobs however such believe can be resolved by offering a supervising position to those who lost their jobs to prevent rapid incline in their financial life.
