Full IELTS Speaking Test
The real interview: a Part 1 warm-up, the Part 2 long turn, and Part 3 discussion — all on one topic, exactly as the examiner runs it. Marked as one performance on the four official criteria.
Full Speaking test
All three parts, back to back — just like the real interview: everyday questions first, then the long turn and a discussion on one topic. About 12 minutes. We record each answer, transcribe it, and give you one band for the whole performance.
Part 1 · Introduction · 12 questions
Short, familiar questions. Answer in 2–4 sentences — give the answer, then a reason or example. Do not launch into a speech.
Part 2 · Long turn · 1 task
Talk for up to two minutes without stopping. Cover every bullet, and keep going even if you pause.
Part 3 · Discussion · 4 questions
Abstract discussion. Give an opinion and justify it, compare, and speculate — one-line answers cap your band here.
Before we start, as the examiner asks
Do you work, or are you a student?
Part 2 topic: Describe a Time You Talked With a Foreigner
The whole interview is marked as one performance.
Short on time? Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 can each be practised on their own.
