Verdict up front: IELTSly is a well-designed AI study platform. A short diagnostic sets your plan, essays come back rewritten line by line to a higher band, and an AI Speaking Partner lets you practise out loud whenever you like.
The free plan is a sample, Pro starts at $19 a month, and its full mocks are built on Cambridge books many candidates have already worked through. We rate it 7/10. Our top pick is IELTSbiz, for fresher material, deeper reading diagnosis and a lower price.
Which "Ieltsly" is this?
The product is IELTSly at ieltsly.ai. As of 13 October 2026, ieltsly.com redirects to a domain-sale page, and ieltsly.art is a separate site calling itself "IELTS.LY". If you were sent a link, check the domain.
What does IELTSly do?
Diagnostic and study plan. A 15-minute diagnostic estimates your level and weaknesses, and an AI study plan sets a daily routine around them.
Writing. Submit Task 1 or Task 2 for a band on each criterion, line-by-line feedback, and an AI rewrite of your essay to Band 8+ with the reason for each change. The rewrite is the most useful part, because it shows the distance from your own draft rather than from a generic model.
Speaking. Practise Parts 1, 2 and 3 separately, or by "AI Calling", with feedback on fluency, pronunciation and grammar. An AI Speaking Partner runs on monthly "Gold Coins": 1 coin a minute for the normal voice, 5 for the realistic one.
Mock tests. Its mock-test page says the questions are "authentic questions from Cambridge Official 7–20", run as all four sections back to back with a section breakdown and weak areas flagged.
Its about page cites 16,384+ active students and a 4.8/5 average rating, both its own figures.

IELTSly pros and cons
Pros: a smart diagnostic-first flow; Band 8+ rewrites of your own essays with reasons; flexible speaking practice; an honest free sample of every feature; clear published prices.
Cons: the free plan is three essays and one mock a month; the realistic Speaking Partner uses up coins five times faster; mocks are drawn from Cambridge books 7–20, which serious candidates often already own or have sat, so a familiar test can inflate your score; and reading results stop at the section, with no band per question type.
Like every AI scorer we know of, ours included, it publishes no study validating its bands against examiners.
Verdict: 7/10
IELTSly earns 7/10. The writing rewrite and the diagnostic-first plan are genuinely good ideas, well executed. It loses points on value, on recycled Cambridge material, and on reading diagnosis.
Our top pick: IELTSbiz
Disclosure: IELTSbiz is ours. We rank it first for four concrete reasons:
- Material you have never seen. Every reading passage is generated fresh in Cambridge style, so your score measures reading, not memory of a Cambridge book.
- Diagnosis down to the question type. The trap behind every wrong answer is named and the evidence line quoted, and your band is tracked for each of the 11 reading question types.
- A bigger free allowance. Reading and listening practice every day, and Writing and Speaking marked every month, with no card. The allowance never drops to zero.
- Better value. Pro is from $7.99/month or $50 lifetime, against $19 a month for IELTSly Pro.
For writing, the Writing Checker marks the four criteria separately and quotes your sentence behind each correction, and the Band 8 Writing Trainer (Pro) teaches each essay type paragraph by paragraph. For speaking, take the full three-part Speaking test or book a live mock with a real person from our team.
