What is YouPass?
YouPass (youpass.vn) is an online IELTS practice platform built by the senior teaching team of IELTS 1984, a Vietnamese IELTS centre.
It has three parts: a free practice bank covering all four skills, the YouPass PRO package for unlimited AI marking of Writing and Speaking, and e-learning courses, led by an IELTS Intensive 7.0 programme that the site describes as a complete 3–6 month roadmap.

What does YouPass do well?
The explanations. Its own slogan is that it does not just "show" your score but explains where you went wrong and how to do it right. Explanations are the part of a practice bank most sites skimp on, and YouPass treats them as the product.
An exam-like interface. Practice runs in a layout modelled on the computer-delivered test, which removes one source of test-day surprise. Since almost every candidate now sits IELTS on a computer, that matters.

Where does YouPass stop?
The bank is fixed. It is updated, but it is finite. Once you have worked through a set, or read its explanation, a retake measures memory rather than reading skill, and your score drifts upward while your real ability stays flat.
A score per attempt, not a band per question type. You learn how a test went. You do not see your level on Matching Headings against True/False/Not Given over time, and that comparison is usually where the missing half band is.
Vietnamese only. This is a strength for a beginner and a limit for anyone outside Vietnam. The test itself is in English, and some candidates prefer feedback in the language they will be tested in.
Unlimited marking is paid. Writing and Speaking feedback at volume requires PRO.

How to get the most from YouPass
Sit each test once, timed and under exam conditions, and log your score before you open the explanation. Never re-sit a test you have reviewed, because that score is no longer evidence of anything. Use dictation on the Listening sections you lost the most marks on.
And when your scores stop moving, switch from volume to diagnosis: find the question type that is costing you, and drill only that.
