The price of organic food has become an increasing social concern in many parts of the world. While some people argue that everyone should have access to organic food regardless of the level of income, others contend that selling healthy food at a higher price is reasonable because of its adavantages to both health and the environment. From my perspective, I firmly believe that although the cost of organic food should be considered, it should also be affordable to the public. On a personal level, people need to have more healthy food choices which should be sold at a reasonable price. Many individuals become more conscious of their diets because of a deeper understanding of the risks of unhealthy food. Consuming healthy food plays a vital role in this society. For example, some people who are used to consuming organic food could improve their health which can have a positive effect on their well-being. As a result, individuals can have healthy diets and maintain good health. From a societal perspective, everyone should have access to organic food regardless of their incomes. Many individuals believe that they can not afford healthy food because of their low salaries. It can be considered as an inequity in society. For instance, low-income families are unable to pay for healthy food because of financial stress. Consequently, it can aggravate the strained relationship between the public and governments, in which people will lose their confidence in governmental policies. In conclusion, it is important to make the price of organic food affordable, which can have a positive influence on people’s health. It is recommended that governments and businesses should improve access to affordable organic food and introduce policies that can make healthy choices easier for the public.
