A memorised essay attached to a slightly different question scores worse than an honest attempt, and examiners recognise recited material quickly.
Some people argue that new housing developments should be replaced by tree planting. I agree only to a limited extent: trees are essential for healthy cities, but people also need homes, so the best solution is to plant more trees within and around new housing, not instead of it.
Trees provide benefits that cities cannot easily replace. Not only do they absorb carbon dioxide and filter polluted air, but they also reduce summer temperatures and make neighbourhoods more pleasant to live in. These benefits are especially important in crowded cities, where concrete traps heat and traffic fumes affect people's health. For example, many cities around the world now require developers to plant new trees to replace those they remove, which shows that green space can be protected without stopping construction. Therefore, tree planting should be a priority in urban planning.
However, replacing housing with trees is not realistic. Populations keep growing, and without enough homes, rents rise and families are pushed into overcrowded housing. Admittedly, new construction often damages natural areas, but this can be reduced by building taller, denser blocks on land that is already developed, which leaves more space for parks. Had planners in Tehran protected more green space in the 1970s, the city would probably be less polluted today, but it would still have needed new homes for its growing population.
In conclusion, I agree that more trees are needed in modern cities, but not at the expense of housing. Governments should require developers to include green space in every project, so that cities can grow without losing the nature that makes them healthy.
Throughout the past few decades, in myriad countries, a number of proportion have argued that planting trees should replace instead of building modern constructions. Admittedly, growing cities needs more new structures. However, preparing the new green areas ,that are made by planting trees, in cities makes a crucial contribution to air pollution reduction and also increase mental health by modify environments' atmosphere.
One major cause is the role of trees in nature is one the most important parts of air quality. In fact, the progress of changing carbon dioxide to oxygen almost depends on green leaf's ,which should appear by trees. Therefore, nowadays that megacities have struggled with an unhealthy air circumstances that are made by cars and factories, the process of air modification must be protected. To illustrate, had some developing countries' authotories prepared green fields in their capitals such as Tehran, after their cities' enhancements, they would not have been faced to this high level of urban air pollution.
Another important factor is the trees are able to change people feeling by entice theme and enhance cities vibe. Hence, not only do trees make more beautiful public spaces, but also nature modify individuals' spirituals feelings. For example, in Amsterdam is announced that every neiborhood should make a green field like parks, in order to service to their citizens since 2010. Thus, due to people mental health, trees should plant gradually.
In conclusion, the more planting trees happen, the more quality of individuals increase. Whereas, cities for their growth need more new structure, green areas are much more important for people health and cities environments. At the end, due to these facts, I strongly support the planting trend against construction approach.
