Band 5 answer

298 words
  • Task Response5
  • Lexical Resource5
  • Grammatical Range & Accuracy5
  • Coherence & Cohesion5

The primary reasons why maintaining long-term friendships is difficult for adults are the lack of time to communicate and stay in touch with each other. The lack of time is often caused by increasing working hours or family issues. For example when adults form a family they will spend more time with their partner and less time on friendships, in order to have more spare time for other things. firstly, the importance of sustaining these relationships is to ensure that you have a friend to talk with when you are depress and upset. This is important becuase most adults need a way to relieve their negative feeling in order to cope with more challenges and perform their best performance, and talking with friends is a suitable way, and talking to a lifelong friend is even better, since adults often confide in a lifelong friend rather than a friend you just known . If they don't have a friend to talk to, this may lead to poor performance in society. For example, there is a person called George, George was just told that he need to work overtime for a project, which makes him feel horrible, so he decides to talk to his friend about it, and his horrible feelng was released after being comfort by his friend, so he can now focus on his work rather than carry his negative feeling into the project and mess it up. In conclusion, a long-term friend is important for adults to keep high performance on their work. A friend can help to release horrble feeling about your life, in order to let you face different challenge in your best performance. Although, nowadays it is hard to maintain a relationship, but it is helpful and important for you to have a friendship.
