The place that comes to mind is a small hill station in the north of my country, which I visited with two friends last winter. We'd been studying hard for exams, so we decided to escape for a long weekend. It took most of the day by bus, and the last part of the journey was a narrow road that winds up through tea plantations. Honestly, some of the bends were terrifying! We spent most of our time walking through the forests and stopping at little roadside stalls for tea and fresh snacks. The highlight, though, was getting up before dawn to watch the sunrise over the mountains. The clouds were actually below us, and it was completely silent. I think I enjoyed it so much because it was such a contrast to the noise and pressure of the city. I came back feeling properly rested for the first time in months.
